Created with intention

I created the Silver Method through years of writing, reflection and development. I wanted to help you understand yourself, find your own words and meet what you are feeling with honesty and care, because I often found that traditional journalling could stay on the surface.

Inspired by bibliotherapy, the Silver Method brings meaningful words, connected reflection and personal writing together. Rather than simply telling you what to do, together we create a space where you can explore, understand and find your way back to yourself.

I did not set out to create a journalling method. I began with poetry, writing from my own life and finding words for things I was still trying to understand.

As the journals grew around those poems, I realised people often needed more than an empty page or a list of prompts. They needed something that helped them feel understood before asking them to open up.

That became the beginning of the Silver Method.

Inspired by Bibliotherapy

Bibliotherapy uses reading and written language to support reflection, personal meaning and emotional understanding.

A poem, passage or piece of writing can help us recognise something in ourselves before we know how to explain it. The Silver Method carries that connection onto the page, helping you explore what the words awaken in you.

It is not therapy, but a creative practice for listening to yourself more closely.

Page

The Silver Method brings meaningful words, reflection and personal writing together in one connected experience. The form may change across a journal, course or live session, but each practice is created to help you meet yourself more closely.

A blank page can offer freedom, but it can also leave you wondering where to begin.

The Silver Method gives you something meaningful to connect with, allowing your own thoughts, feelings and words to unfold from there.

Practice

The practice begins with words that create recognition or connection.

Carefully linked reflections then help you explore the theme from different angles. Rituals, affirmations and notes from Silver add care and presence, so you are not asked to open something difficult and then left there.

The words open the door. What they mean to you is always your own

Permission

The Silver Method does not speak from above the page or tell you who you should become.

Together we create an open, caring space where vulnerability is welcomed without being forced and difficult feelings can be explored without being made heavier.

You are guided, but your words, your meaning and your way forward remain your own.

Ways to Practise the Silver Method

Journals

Explore the Silver Method through poetry-led and reflective journals, available digitally from LOVEcORE and as printed books through Amazon.

Each journal offers a different theme and place to begin.

Courses

Silver Method courses offer a more focused journey through guided reflection, personal writing and supportive practices.

They are created to help you begin, return or go deeper without pressure to do journalling perfectly.

Write Space

Write Space is the LOVEcORE co-journalling community, where we practise the Silver Method through weekly themes, reflective prompts and live Write With Me sessions.

You never have to share what you write. We come together to make space for the practice and reflect on how the writing felt.
